Since I don’t eat as much sugar anymore – I’ve had a tough time finding things to satisfy my chocolate cravings – that are not sickeningly sweet, with garbage ingredients! So, I wanted to introduce you to one of my favorite chocolate candy brands!

UNREAL SNACKS REVIEW
Since I cut back on sugar, years ago – I’d always felt like I was missing out. Especially, on holidays like Valentine’s Day, Easter & Halloween. Or, when I was PMS-ing. So, I’d eat a regular piece of candy, and would end up feeling sick, sometimes until the next day, like… a sugar hangover. While I enjoy it in the moment, it’s just not worth it. So, I’m happy I finally came across UNREAL!
Luckily, finding organic chocolate bars is pretty easy these days, but it’s all the other nostalgic candy we grew up with, that I miss. But, UNREAL is where it’s at, as far as better candy bar options go – both, in terms of taste, and the quality of ingredients.
To start: I like the candy bars and nut butter cups, way better than the gems (which are still good, but just ok in comparison). Out of the chocolate bars – the Nougat is definitely my favorite, with the Peanut Butter Cups, and the Coconut Bars tied for 2nd place! I’ve also had the Almond Butter Cups too, which are great! Out of the Chocolate Gems – I don’t really have a favorite… no real standouts with these for me. Also, side note: the Gems come in resealable bags, but the Candy Bars don’t – which is kind of annoying.
The only real drawbacks to UNREAL, is that they can be pretty pricey. I wish more came in the Standard Sized Bags – only 5 come in a bag of Nougat Bars, and 8 for the Coconut Bars & Nut Butter Cups. They also don’t seem to offer Value Sized Bags of the Nougat Bars on their site… and, they’re always hard to find in stores! Not sure what the story is with that, but I wish they’d work it out – because, I need to be able to buy larger quantities of these STAT, haha! I just realized that they have Grab & Go Boxes of them though, so that’s a plus!
All in all, I love UNREAL. I’ve been buying their stuff for awhile now, and will continue to do so! If you want to check them out, their Variety Packs are probably the best place to start!
