REVIEW | Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream

Description: Egyptian Magic is an all-natural skin cream made from six of nature’s most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients. For more than 20 years they’ve been blending these ingredients using their unique, proprietary process based on a formula that was created thousands of years ago in the land of the Pharaohs. The result is a luxurious cream with moisturizing and nourishing properties that are legendary among celebrities, the fashion industry, even doctors and hospitals. With that support, Egyptian Magic has grown exclusively through word-of-mouth to be one of the most popular and widely endorsed skin creams in the world. Discover how to use Egyptian Magic on a phenomenal array of skin issues. From babies’ bottoms to the faces of the top supermodels in the world, Egyptian Magic legitimately bears the words “All-Purpose.” You will be delighted with the results as they stand behind the product with a 100% guarantee. Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream, “The People’s Choice” is a phenomenal healing balm with legendary powers due to its unique mixture of all natural ingredients derived only from living plants and organisms and has been on the market since August 1991 with a solid track record, a loyal word of mouth following, and twice the healing power for half the price of conventional skin creams.

Packaging: I sometimes wish it were in a tube just for convenience. The label / print ink eventually came off the jar and would get all over my hands, face, in the jar, etc. every time I’d use it… so I ended up having to use Rubbing Alcohol to clean + remove the remaining ink from the jar. I’m thinking that this might be from any excess cream I had on my hands when closing it, but that shouldn’t happen. I think the packaging quality could be better for the obvious reasons, it looks a bit dated + is nothing fancy… then again- I guess that’s probably what makes this product look so nostalgic!
Samples: They don’t sell them- but they totally should! The company says they don’t because they offer a 100% satisfaction, no questions asked, money back guarantee. It doesn’t matter where you bought the jar, when you bought it, or how much of the cream is left. Anyone can contact them for any reason, and they will refund your $! Not many Beauty Companies will do that… that’s good Customer Service!
The GG’s Opinion: Nicknamed “Cleopatra’s Cream” + worshipped by Hollywood Starlets such as K. Hud, Madonna, Brooke Shields, Rachael Zoe + even “O” Mag… this cult fave is what I’d take if I were stranded on a deserted island along with my Aztec Secret! No, really :) At first I thought this might be all hype, but I was totally blow away after using it for just a few days. Oil is the new Lotion… + once you learn how to use them (like with any truly oil based products) you will never look back! I feel like I can use this for just about anything… it really lives up to the “all-purpose” claim on the label! I use it as Night Cream, instead of Daily Facial Moisturizer, as Primer under my Makeup (yes, under my makeup + it’s not greasy if you use the right amount), Eye Cream, as a Hydrating Facial Mask in the Shower, on Scars (I have a few Keyloid Scars + it stopped the itch, removed the redness + also on Acne Scars + my Surgery Scars from Breast Cancer), on Cuts (makes them heal faster- my ‘Natural Neosporin’), on Sunburn + Radiation Burns (wish I knew about this when I was going through Cancer Treatment!), Rashes, on Bug Bites (stops the itch + reduces bruises + swelling), as Lip Balm, as a Hair Serum (to tame frizzes + condition ends), and the list could go on! One thing I did want to mention was the anti- acne hype I read all over the www. It worked for some but not others, so I didn’t have high expectations about this particular use. My experience was that it did not seem to prevent Acne, but definitely helped scars heal + fade much faster. I’ve also heard of others using this as Makeup Remover, Stretch Marks, Diaper Rash Cream, Massage Oil, Shaving Cream, Aftershave, Hot Oil Hair Treatment, Eczema, Psoriasis, Tattoo Balm, and a million other uses I probably can’t think of right this sec. To Apply, I usually use it immediately after I wash my face on damp skin to seal in the moisture (this is key!). If not- I splash with water or spritz with Facial Toner + then apply. I was surprised to find out that I needed VERY little- like, A DAB for my entire face otherwise it was too greasy… so the jar will last FOREVER (I’ve had the 4 oz. jar + have used it almost everyday for the past year + I still have about 1/2 left)! The texture is Creamy, looks almost buttery but  is like a Balm that melts. It smells like Honey more than Olive Oil. I also wish the ingredients were organic! Other than my packaging issue + the sticker shock… this product is my new obsession! I can’t tell you how much I heart multi-use products like this one! They save time, $ + space when storing or traveling = Jackpot! I think I might be a Lifer with EMC! Thanks Egyptian Magic!

I’m not sure when you posted this but you should try Medicine Mama’s Apothecary Sweet Bee Magic All in One Healing Skin Cream. Same major ingredient but all organic! It also is way more affordable than Egyptian Magic. Offers all the same benefits and results. You can buy it at Whole Foods or on Amazon.
