REVIEW: ANNMARIE SKIN CARE Wild Alchemy Collection Deluxe Trial Kit

Wild Alchemy Collection Deluxe Trial Kit

If you’ve been looking for an affordable way to try Annmarie Skin Care’s Wild Alchemy Collection, here’s your chance! They’ve finally come out with the Wild Alchemy Deluxe Trial Kit, and I’m so excited! It’s $90, and includes a 2-week supply of their Phytonutrient Cleanser, Wild Fruit Serum, Rejuvenating Facial Oil, and Charcoal Cacao Mask, from their luxury line. These products are great for all skin types, and work synergistically for softer, smoother and brighter skin!

Phytonutrient Cleanser

Activated Facial Cream Cleanser (1 fl oz.)

A creamy, elevated cleansing experience that softens, brightens and hydrates. Made with nutrient dense herbs and moisturizing ingredients like Mango Seed Butter, Apple Extract, and Acai Oil, with a fresh, uplifting scent from Lavender, Lemon, Bergamot and Litsea Cubeba.

I apply this to either damp or dry skin (for a more therapeutic experience), and massage it in for a minute or two, before rinsing – morning or night. Just a heads up though – it doesn’t remove all my makeup. I usually need a separate Makeup Remover, and am looking forward to trying Annmarie’s Restorative Cleansing Oil soon though!

Charcoal Cacao Mask

Antioxidant & Detoxifying Treatment (3.7 ml)

An activated treatment mask that infuses your skin with powerful, skin-specific antioxidants, gentle clays and cooling botanicals for a smooth, clear complexion. The aloe locks in hydration, the charcoal draws out impurities, cacao helps improve texture, tone and radiance, and the bioactive compounds in turmeric are perfect for calming sensitivite skin.

I use this once or twice a week, by applying a decent amount to clean, damp skin. For the best results, I like to steam my pores open first (over a bowl, in the shower / bath), and do a little scrub with Annmarie’s Kaolin Micro Exfoliant before applying. Leave it on for 15 min., then remove with a warm, wet towel. FYI: Charcoal may stain though, so use a dark towel, or one that you don’t really care about. I’m also not sure why they’ve included 2 Charcoal Cacao Masks in the Kit? I’m guessing its a packaging supply issue? If not, I wish they’d just put it all in one, larger container.

Wild Fruit Serum

Brightening Facial Complex (0.2 fl oz)

The ultimate skin elixir! A beautiful blend of kakadu plum, apple, resveratrol-rich knotweed, and copper brighten, hydrate, and tone – with a concentrated dose of activated fruit, herb and plant-cell extracts for plump, glowing skin.

Out of all of Annmarie’s Serums, this one is my absolute favorite (although the Anti-Aging Serum is a close, second). Plus, it smells so good that I wanna drink it! And, now that they have the addition of the Concentrated Boosting Elixirs too – OMG, forget about it! I apply 1-2 pumps on, damp skin (love Annmarie’s Neroli Toning Mist), before my moisturizer. I use this anytime I’m not wearing makeup, because I never like how it (or any serums) lay underneath. Try it with your foundation though and see how it works.

Rejuvenating Facial Oil

Luxury Elixir with Butterly Pea Flower (0.2 fl oz)

A luxurious, organic oil blend thats infused with antioxidant-rich butterfly pea flowers, blue tansy and helichrysum that soften and soothe. Moisture-binding oils of mongongo, black cumin seed, baobab, marula, copaiba balsam, and andiroba that help energize, for vibrant, glowy skin.

To be honest, I rarely use facial oils by themselves anymore. I do however, add a few drops to my regular moisturizer though. I love the smell of Blue Tansy, so this was naturally a hit for me. In fact, it’s kinda neck and neck with my beloved Anti-Aging Oil at the moment! Both are amazing, and this company really knows what they’re doing when it comes to serums and oils, in my opinion. My favorite way to use this is in combo with their Neroli Toning Mist, and Jade Gua Sha Lifting Tool, on days I’m feeling puffy, or right after a Facial! It can be used anytime, but is best right after serum. They say to use 1 to 2 full pumps, but I honestly only use a few drops at a time – so this lasts awhile, unless I’m doing Gua Sha.

If I had to pick 2 Faves out of this Kit, they’d probably be: the Phytonutrient Cream Cleanser, and the Wild Fruit Serum. I also recently got the Resurfacing Facial Exfoliant from the Wild Alchemy Collection, which I’m loving so far.
