Glamorganic Guide | Facial Masking Brush + Bowl Sets

While mini masking brushes + bowls may not seem like a necessity in the big scheme of things – they’re definitely a nice thing to have + the one thing you didn’t think you needed if you do facials regularly.

For years I refused to spend the money on one, figuring… I’ll just use one of my kitchen bowls + an old makeup brush. And, while you can still totally do that… I highly recommend designating or buying a specific set – that you’ll use only for facials.

Why You Should Own One…

  1. They’re usually just the perfect size + shape, so you don’t loose or waste any product. I’ve found when I use bigger bowls I tend to mix more product than I actually need, because it’s hard to judge. Since I’ve been using a facial bowl, I always mix the perfect amount + hardly ever end up with anything leftover, which I love – because we know how expensive some of theses masks can be 🙈, so it can be a money saver in the long run.
  2. Different Brushes will be good for different mask consistencies + levels of thickness when applying. For example: with thicker masks, I like my May Lindstrom Angled Brush, but for lighter masks, I like my Laurel Whole Plant Organics Fan Brush. So, it really depends. And, honestly – you can get the job done with almost any of them… it’s really just a matter of preference.
  3. You can store this set with all your other masking stuff so it’s ready to go when you need it, + without feeling guilty because a bowl is MIA from your kitchen! If you do this, I promise you’ll mask more. Plus, it makes it so much easier for an impromptu shower masking sash! Win-win for your skin!

I don’t have all of these {but wish I did!}, so I’ve noted which ones I have + which ones I want.

Have you ever used any of these? Do you have a different one?
