 Packaging

Long, square tube with a doe-foot applicator that comes in a cardboard cylinder. I found the outer packaging unnecessary though.

A hint of grapefruit, maybe?

 Texture

Smooth + Glossy!

 Pros

  • Glossy!
  • Gorgeous colors.
  • No artificial FD+C dyes!
  • Moisturizing.

Cons

  • The lighter shades are a little on the shear side – not as much pearl or pigment as I’d hoped.
  • Contains Carmine, Natural Flavor (which I usually don’t use)
  • Pricey!
  • I wish they sold samples.

Final Thoughts

Of course, when it comes to Lip Gloss, my prerogative has always been to find a less sticky, but totally natural version of my toxic, beloved,  ex… MAC Lipglass. While I haven’t found “it” yet, this is a close second, when it comes to shine – not tackiness though (Thank God)! I have these in 4 colors – “Truth” (Sheer True Pink), “Innocent” (Soft Baby Pink), “Vibe” (Fresh Warm Peach) + “Freedom” (True Strawberry Red) – with the Freedom + Truth being my faves. I had been praying that these would be super-pearly + highly pigmented, like they looked online, but when I received them, I was a little disappointed that they were a bit on the sheer side – especially with “Innocent”. Out of all of them, “Innocent” is probably the shade I’d wear the most, but it looks almost clear on… not exactly what I was going for since I tend to lean towards pearly, light pink glosses. I would say these are more like tinted glosses with with lots of shine, but not pearliness though – if that makes sense. So, if that’s what you’re looking for, these aren’t it. Either way, they still look FAB on, none the less! These are perfect if you’ve gotten  comfortable wearing pretty neutral colors (like me!) over the past few years and want to amp it up without going over the top. All in all, I adore the glossiness, but wasn’t a fan of  the Carmine or the Natural Flavor, so I’m not sure if I’d purchase these again. Other than that they’re amazing though! Thanks Revolution Organics!
